How can I use Mini Coyote in several cars?
Mini Coyote can be used in any motor vehicle. Mini Coyote plugs into any 12V car outlet. A '2nd vehicle kit' that includes an additional windshield support, a USB / mini USB cable adapter and a USB / 12V cigarette lighter plug can be purchased as an option.
Can I use my Mini Coyote outside the UK?
For now Mini Coyote can be used in UK, France and Czech Republic. By Summer 2009 mini Coyote users will able to take on a European option and use their Mini Coyote across Europe.
Does Mini Coyote work in tunnels and basements?
Mini Coyote uses GPS technology. When a vehicle enters a tunnel or a basement, the GPS receiver inside Mini Coyote is unable to detect signals from GPS satellites. The system becomes operational immediately after the vehicle comes out of it.
Is Mini Coyote a GPS navigator?
No, Mini Coyote only uses GPS technology to locate information and only alert you of relevant information.
How do you place Mini Coyote inside a vehicle?
There are two ways to affix Mini Coyote inside a vehicle. If your vehicle is equipped with a coated windscreen, Mini Coyote simply fits on its provided windscreen support. You will need to place it on your windscreen in the non-coated area just around the inside rear view mirror. If you vehicle does not have a coated windscreen, you may place Mini Coyote in any location where you have a clear view of its screen. A stick-on magnet is also provided so you just need to place the magnet on your dashboard and place Mini Coyote on top of it.
